This project was undertaken in connection with the settlement of an enforcement action taken by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for alleged violations of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act. The Stonegate Village Metropolitan District takes the alleged violations related to the treatment and discharge of wastewater to Cherry Creek very seriously and believes that residents of the District will benefit from and are committed to protecting the water quality of Cherry Creek and the environment.
